History of Hinduism Hinduism, with about one billion followers is the world's third largest religion, after Christianity and Islam. However, it is not a religion of the same kind as the other two main religions. Hinduism is a very old religion from India that is still practiced today. It was one of the first religions that had the idea of reincarnation (that people can be born again after death), karma (one event invents another, or that every action has its consequences), and other ideas. Hinduism is not simple. Hinduism has been described as a tradition having a "complex, organic, multileveled and sometimes internally inconsistent nature". Hinduism does not have a "unified system of belief encoded in a declaration of faith or a creed", but is rather an umbrella term comprising the plurality of religious phenomena of India. How do you cope with meat eating society? I've been a vegetarian for over 4 years now and I can't look at people that eat meat the same way as before I turned into a vegetarian. My closest friends, my parents and all my relatives are meat eaters and I started despizing them for their ignorance and cruelty towards animals. I tried to talk some sense into them but it was a waste of my nerves. Many hide behind their bible (apparently a book that has all the answers). I know I was like them for most of my life but nobody had to convince me to become a vegetarian. If you care to listen, if you open your mind, you can't ignore all the cruelty around you and you'll remember that you still have a heart. How can you look at these people without being desgusted? Can you still show them respect and be friends with? I dont think so! The only solution would be to make new friends. Find people who share the same values and ignore the rest? But what if you live in a small town, where everybody is a meat eating freak and you can't get out of it because of your financial situation? I'd like to know how you guys are dealing with such issues. Post Date: 01/16/14, Replies: 11
How To Love The Buddha explained that the people we truly love are not the source of our life’s joy as one may think. I was listening to a YouTube lecture by a very special Buddhist Monk named Ajahan Amaro, and he explained that in the Suttas, the Buddhist Scriptures, the Buddha had stated that suffering, indeed suffering comes from the relationships we hold dearest to our hearts. Love creates suffering. I had to really think about this for a few days. Many things I realized during this time, but one thought seemed important to share with the world and it has brought me to this moment in time. We are not ready for love on Earth because we do not know how to suffer. We also do not know how to fight correctly, which is the outward expression of our suffering, and thus we do not know how to love. No one teaches us how to love. This explains why there are so many failed relationships. The Buddha taught that all life is a suffering process and his mission was to teach how to end suffering, yet, he did not teach us how to endure it. Jesus suffered on the cross so deeply that his heart could have cried out and ripped the very fabric of reality, shredding it into a billion pieces like a shattered cosmic mosaic falling all around us, toppling into the endlessness of a bottomless illusion in the great holograph of creation. Instead both Buddha and Jesus suffered silently. The same is true for almost every great religious leader, saint, guru and good person that has ever walked this planet. But is this the correct way to suffer? If to love is to suffer, then we must unlock the mystery of how one should suffer if we will ever learn how to love. Our suffering is not our pain although it is painful. Suffering is anguish that is deepening and personal and it is a powerful source of growth. Our suffering exists, in accordance with Buddhist teachings, because we cling, holding and clutching, and refusing to release to the universal dance. When we love, we hold on dearly and this is the central mistake. We undermine the freedom of others, we tell them what to do, we conflict with what is and try to amend the natural flow that pulsates life through our minds and bodies. We hold on to what we want and we do not suffer silently, so we inflict our suffering on others to show them who wins at this suffering game. This then leads to fights. To best understand suffering, we need look no further than our daily meals. If there is a piece of animal on your plate, then an innocent, blameless being who had feelings, family, home and touched the divinity of life with its breath has been ruthlessly isolated, alienated, beaten, tortured and killed. If you suffer, perhaps it in part due to this very suffering inflicted upon the animals one has eaten. The spiritual and emotional pain of being degraded to the stature of food, to be wanted for flesh and ignored for love is the very cruelest fate. To reduce the magnitude of fighting, in marriages and war, we must own our suffering and when it is over abandon it. Not just for the Karmic content and resolution of past deeds, but we must do this for the existential dilemma that cannot be unraveled. We must acknowledge the source of our suffering and find its end and the path to its end, but first we must suffer maturely, willingly, lovingly and for the benefit of our own growth and for the freeing of all sentient beings that they do not need to suffer as we do. We should learn and train ourselves to fight peacefully and with honor and non violently until our suffering ceases and the source for the fight is revealed. This involves training and discipline. We must also purify our Karma and go vegan so that negative pathways do not delude our progression towards the wisdom and grace that ends suffering. We need to teach young married couples that the love they share for their spouses and children suffers deeply in their hearts silently until they release from owning this experience of love and life. I am looking for like minded people I thought this is a good place to post-Wisdom and Spiritual. I am looking for veg people to live at my place permanently and be part of Country Gospel music programs here at my place in my building. My place is near Urbana, Mo. in a rural area on 20 acres. Veg people would not be hunting and doing other bad things. Veg people are usually more intelligent. They would not have to buy their own place. They can live here and I hope a child would grow up here and consider this place to be their home. I do not charge rent but people would have to pay for their needs and utilities that they use. If you are interested or if you know of a good person/s who would, please email me or message and put Country Gospel in the subject line so I will see that it is not trash. Thanks Post Date: 10/31/09, Replies: 1
Ignorance's failure Note: Before I start saying what I'm going to say I'm going to clear up a few things first so there are no more misunderstandings. I chose the username hellhound because I'm big into computer gaming and I used to play a computer game that had hellhounds in it, I thought it sounded like a cool username so that's where the name comes from. My username has nothing to do with my spirituality as a pagan. Pagans do not worship Satan or believe in him, although a lot of people who do not know much about paganism wrongly assume that. Paganism is a word used to descibe ancient Celtic and shamanistic religions, most pagans practice the honoring of the earth. We are not Satan worshippers. Ok now that we have covered that I will say what I feel I need to say here. Ignorance means a lack of knowledge and it can also be used to descibe people who refuse knowledge. A lack of knowledge and a lack of seeing other peoples views breeds prejudice. I have noticed a lot of arguing about religion and atheism. Religion is obviously important and is vital to teach morality, wisdom and spiritual awareness however if you don't want to practice a religion that is your discission and you should be respected for your discission. To judge people for their religion, ethnicities or sexual orientation is prejudice and ignorant. Ignorance is the reason why people eat animals, because they do not have enough knowledge to understand what they are doing is wrong or that they can do things differently. The happycow website is to offer vegetarians and vegans the opportunity to discuss all things vegan and vegetarian and to review restaurants, hopefully non-vegetarians will find this site and be educated on vegetarianism so they can adopt a more compassionate lifestyle. Ignorance is the biggest problem in the world and we can only defeat it by educating each other, learning from each other, respecting each others opinions and putting aside differences to work together to achieve the steps towards a more compassionate and peaceful world. Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Envir The link between Mind and Social / Environmental-Issues. The fast-paced, consumerist lifestyle of Industrial Society is causing exponential rise in psychological problems besides destroying the environment. All issues are interlinked. Our Minds cannot be peaceful when attention-spans are down to nanoseconds, microseconds and milliseconds. Our Minds cannot be peaceful if we destroy Nature. Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment. Subject : In a fast society slow emotions become extinct. Subject : A thinking mind cannot feel. Subject : Scientific/ Industrial/ Financial thinking destroys the planet. Subject : Environment can never be saved as long as cities exist. Emotion is what we experience during gaps in our thinking. If there are no gaps there is no emotion. Today people are thinking all the time and are mistaking thought (words/ language) for emotion. When society switches-over from physical work (agriculture) to mental work (scientific/ industrial/ financial/ fast visuals/ fast words ) the speed of thinking keeps on accelerating and the gaps between thinking go on decreasing. There comes a time when there are almost no gaps. People become incapable of experiencing/ tolerating gaps. Emotion ends. Man becomes machine. A society that speeds up mentally experiences every mental slowing-down as Depression / Anxiety. A ( travelling )society that speeds up physically experiences every physical slowing-down as Depression / Anxiety. A society that entertains itself daily experiences every non-entertaining moment as Depression / Anxiety. Fast visuals/ words make slow emotions extinct. Scientific/ Industrial/ Financial thinking destroys emotional circuits. A fast (large) society cannot feel pain / remorse / empathy. A fast (large) society will always be cruel to Animals/ Trees/ Air/ Water/ Land and to Itself. Its funny Hey all, I'm new here and wanted to raise a few points to see what other "Vegans" think. Good or bad, please chim in! I will give my background regarding deiteray habits in the relevant subform if that interests anyone also (never ate a steak in my life, etc.) - being Vegan does NOT constitute a 'movement', as much as some may think. - There are many flaws in this; namely that it creates a cult-esque atmosphere (T.F.F. which became, "do not come unless you eat bananas and bike all day) when sub-fractions dissipate from being Vegan in the sense of abstaining from meat and diary products and animal by-products and their focus becomes on what fits with their "clique" (for the record,,, never followed rawtill4,30bad). - The other issue that is related to this is the fact that all too many Vegans are all too willing to drive cars and procreate, which, btw, just having ONE kid will increase your carbon footprint by 1000X as much as I could drive an SUV gas guzzler around all day AND smoke, etc. - And that is just ONE kid. Over population, IS a problem. And I would encourage anyone who thinks about procreating to really take time to take a set back and really look at the situation. - There are numerous 'kids' out there that would love you have a loving family like you could/can provide... Just look at it. Look. Post Date: 06/01/16, Replies: 1
Jain Vegan The Jain way of life is the one of the oldest continuously practiced method for spiritual purification on Earth. Many scholars claim it is the oldest that can be proven as such, dating more than 6000 years. The Jains go so far back in the history of India that they have in their cultural memoirs alternative accounts of Hindu Avatars such as Shiva because they claim to have been an organized religion at that time and recorded their encounters. The Buddha studied under the Jains during his years of ascetic practice. The Jains have many interesting insights from their holy books, the messages of their spiritual leaders the Tirthankaras, and vast numbers of insights from their monastic and lay communities. One such insight concerns the topic of sentience. The Jains believe in an absolute adherence to Ahimsa or harmlessness and indeed are the contributing culture from where this concept was born. Indeed, so as not to harm a tree for paper, their Agamas, or scriptures, are written on tree bark that must first fall naturally from a tree without being removed from the tree by hand. When I was at a Jain Temple, I asked about this practice and a very wise holy person explained to me the following account. He told me that various creatures on Earth have differing sense organs. Certain birds can see infer red frequencies, others like dolphins and bats have sonar. Some creatures have five senses, some more and some less. According to Jain tradition trees have only one sense, and that one sense is touch. Trees feel the touch of sunshine, rain, the birds and the wind. Because of this belief, Jains do not touch trees. Because the tree cannot see whom is touching it, trees in general feel fear when they are touched. Unless one is willing to spend their entire life caring for a tree, watering it and showing it love while building a trusting relationship with that tree, it is better not to touch. The Jain community avidly practices vegetarianism. They also honor the vegan life pathway. To the Jains these are honorable methods of purification which are keys, along with their Dharma to obtain Moksha or liberation and enlightenment. Post Date: 01/11/16, Replies: 0

Jesus's dietary status I just heard a proclomation that "Christ was vegan" on the Go Vegan Radio show. I had heard from other sources in the past that the government covered up Jesus's vegetarianism. Have others heard of this? It makes sense that he would have been avegetarian condering "Thou shat not kill" is a commandment. It also is conceivable that the governmetn and meat/fish industry would want to have a fact such as this omitted. Post Date: 04/07/14, Replies: 21
Karma Hsuan Hua Fa Shr, a renown Buddhist monk, once explained that the reason there is war is due to diet, Karma and reincarnation. He explained that if a cow is eaten by a human and then in the next life the cow is a human that then eats a cow who was the human in the past life, a circle of anger occurs. When a nation of cows are eaten by a nation of humans and they reverse roles in the future incarnation, going back and forth many times consuming each other, very deeply rooted hatred arises. When finally all the participants in this horrific carnivorous circle of multiple incarnations arise as human beings, they choose sides and fight a war. Karma may hold a secret as to why people eat meat. There also is a Tibetan Vajrayana sentiment that people eat meat to eat their enemies. Karma literally means to make or to do. We can make a wonderful world by doing the right thing and eating vegan. This releases us from the Karmic torrent of negativity that meat eating creates. Implied in the term Karma is the responsibility for our actions, sometimes experiencing the fruition of our choices many future incarnations after the fact. Eat Karma or eat peace. Is this the difference between meat eating and a vegan diet? The Hindi, the Buddhists, the Jains, many followers of Confucius, Taoists, many Rabbis and certain sects of Christianity all feel that vegetarianism is the first step of the long voyage into spirituality, compassion and rectifying one's Karma. Does one have to have good past life Karma to practice a vegan lifestyle? Can we change this planet's Karma by going vegan? Post Date: 06/04/16, Replies: 5
Me Performing 100 Yoga Poses www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5SH4wNZmtU Hi everyone! I was originally inspired to try yoga through the yoga charts and yoga videos that I saw on-line, so I decided to make a YouTube video in hopes of inspiring some more people to get into yoga :) I perform 100 different postures in this video and I also provide the names of all 100 poses so it will hopefully be educational as well as inspirational ;) I want to say that I strongly believe that promoting yoga is an overlooked way of promoting veganism! (Show me the person who has been doing yoga on a regular basis for years who still eats Big Macs and hotdogs, or who's an alcoholic, or who feels that they have "enemies" in this world.) When you get into yoga you become aware of a certain concept which is usually referred to as, "What goes around comes around." and you quikly realize that if it is your desire to have peace and happiness in your life you should never intentionally prevent others from having peace and happiness in theirs and many yogis understand that this concept goes for innocent animals as well, and even those yogis that do still eat meat they are probably eating FAR less than the average person. (When a person gets into yoga they just tend to gravitate towards more of a plant based diet.) In so many other forms of fitness (especially bodybuilding and virtually any form of "competitive" sport" out there) there is such a strong belief by many who are involved in them that they need to eat lots and lots of protein because they are athletes and they workout, but again, show me the person who says "I do yoga so I have to eat meat in order to get enough protein..." I can´t imagine someone actually saying and meaning that... I also want to say that almost half of these poses are poses that I just came up with when filming this project. I've been doing yoga for years and have never really thought of new poses before, but for some reason once I started this project I was thiking of new yoga poses without even trying to and I was happening so often that I kept waking up in the middle of the night and turning the light on so I could draw poses that were just popping up in my mind. I hope that some of these new poses will find their way into yoga charts, yoga classes, and individual person's routines. For anyone curious, the yoga poses in this video that I came up with were... * King Lotus Pose * Medievel Pose * Frozen Lotus * Walrus Pose * Baby Dragon In Egg Pose * Flower Blooming Pose * Seashell Pose * Yin Yang Pose 1 * Yin Yang Pose 2 * God Pose * Devil Pose * Upsidedown Goddess Pose * Balance Pose * Tangled Roots Pose * Tangled Roots Leaning Towards The Sun Pose * Tangled Tip Toe Pose * Intense Stretch On Tip Toes * Wheel Pose On Fingers And Toes * Bow And Arrow Pose 2 * Warrior Pose 4 * Lightning Headstand * Temple Pose * Straightjacket Pose * Corpse Pose In Rigor Mortis * Head To Knee Pose Intense Stretch * Master Of Puppets Pose * Standing On Your Hands While Doing A Backbend * Headstand In Hell Pose * Fight Or Flight Pose * Caught In A Web Pose * Severed Limbs Pose * Space Travel Pose * Infinity And Beyond Pose * Unicorn Pose * Sun Worship Pose * One Hand Pose * Energy Circulation Pose * Mosquito Pose * Standing Hands To The Floor With Arms Crossed * X Handstand * Balancing Diamond Pose * Castle Drawbridge Pose * Once Continuous One Pose * Court Jester Headstand I almost don´t feel right saying that I ¨thought¨ of these poses, because there was absolutely no thinking involved. They just showed up in my mind and since I performed them the best that I could. The vegan diet has completely transformed my life and this video is just one example of the many transformations that I have experienced all while being 100 vegan. Post Date: 05/26/15, Replies: 2

Paradigm shift, using their own methods I think there needs to be a paradigm shift...You cannot battle the desire to eat meat with logic. I became a vegetarian a long time ago, but it was not logic that converted me, but my inner conscience. I think we need a new a approach. A paradigm shift. For example, when you turn on the TV, you are immediately bombarded with things like greed, feuding, and violence. There are always commercials for Arby's meat, junk food, and beef, to the point of desensitization. We need to infiltrate this. We need to replace these messages with positive, vegetarian messages, on a subliminal level, using their own mind control techniques to reverse the mental damage they have bestowed upon us. Spread the word, change is coming! Post Date: 01/10/16, Replies: 3
Please do not waste food!! Please do not waste food!! Veda says that even a single particle of the food should not be wasted Donation is very dangerous like double edged knife. Donating to undeserving persons is very big sin and not mere wastage. Today, if you see the feast of a marriage function, you will find most of the plates after feast are full of food items leftover. When you throw this food, it becomes a source for bacteria and virus, which may harm even good people in the society. Thus, the people, who have thrown the food, become sinners. The owner of feast, who gave this expensive food to them is also another sinner and will be punished by the divine law. Both doer and promoter are equally punished (Kartha karaiyitaa chaiva...). Finally the married couple is also affected. Veda says that even a single particle of the food should not be wasted (Annamna parichak[censored]a...). Once, in a function, the people were wasting food and the beggars on the other side were searching for the food in the leaves thrown away after the feast. One devotee asked Bhagavan Shri Satya Sai Baba like this, “O Swami! What is this! In your creation I find people throwing food on one side and people searching for the thrown food on the other side”. Bhagavan Baba replied “Those beggars were also rich in the previous birth and threw the food like these rich people. They are now born as beggars and are searching for the food thrown by them in the past”. Therefore, the minimum eligibility of the receiver of food is: not to throw even an iota of food. Pleasing Vegans Vs Confrontational Vegans I remember when i was a vegetarian and did go drink coffee with a few vegan AR friends. I was the only one who used coffee milk, and they made remarks about that. I did feel that was pretty annoying to ruin the nice conservation we had with such a confrontational attack. LOL. It only took a short time for me to realize they were right and it really helped me to become vegan more fast. So in short, I am grateful to them for being confrontational. outspoken, and about vegan things to my vegetarian me at the time. Had they be vegans and not confronted me, i might have been a milk addict much longer. I hear often other vegans how they deal with non veggies, how they try to fit in with funny remarks about their vegan self, or simply try not to say anything at all. Some vegans even label outspoken vegans as or in a way to silence them and themselves. I feel that not only denigrates ones self but also non veg people not only despise you because you are vegan, but also despise you because you seem so weak and insincere about yourself. At highest non veg people praise you for non preaching just like they praise a dog for being a good doggy. I myself simply speak up when i feel i need to speak up. I don't get personal but i simply talk about about animal cruelty. I don't let society silence me or worse, silence myself with excuses. That would be the same as when any other topic about violence or cruelty would come up and not voice your opposition against it. Imagine, a conversation about rape (eg ) or a racist conversation ? Would you stay out of the conversation (you don't want to go against the grain) or speak out and say how wrong it is? Pleasing vegans or confrontational vegans ? What are your experiences yourself ? Practices that deepen your awareness Hi there. I'm a former vegan/vegetarian who "fell off the wagon" in the form of Paleo for some time. While my body truly felt wonderful eating that way, I soon slipped back into the SAD, and then through a series of spiritual experiences (that sounds presumptuous, but I think spiritual experiences are available to us whenever we are willing to open ourselves to them). I am now working hard on eliminating meat and dairy completely. I'm wondering how you all work to strengthen the mind/body connection when it comes to animals so many eat? How do you continually 'remind yourself' of the reality there, even when your body asks for meat? I realize this may not be an issue for all, but unfortunately I am finding it a hurdle. Reincarnation I really dig Eastern religion and have learned a lot about reincarnation. Some Hindus are vegetarian because they believe that the soul of a deceased family member or friend could be reincarnated into the body of an animal. Also an animal could have the capability to kill you in your next life if you eat meat now. Post Date: 01/10/16, Replies: 11
Religion's Failure Religion is responsible for the hierarchical thinking that puts men above women, humans over the other animals, kings over slaves and one religion over another. Is it a coincidence that the appearance of organized religion parallels the evolution of organized warfare? As a freethinker, I would never deny any "believer" their right to believe and to speak openly about it. It's religious folks who want to deny atheists, agnostics and deists an equal voice when discussing contemporary moral issues. People of all faiths have been praying for an end to war for ten millennia, when will their gods respond? Why do many believers fear freethinking so vehemently? What is their fear? Thinking? Asking questions? Logic? How many would dare open the cover of a book penned by an agnostic? "The happiest people I know have been those who gave no concern about their own souls, but did their uttermost to mitigate the miseries of others." -Elizabeth Cady Stanton "There was a time when religion ruled the world. It is known as the Dark Ages." -Ruth Hermence Green Being obsessed with the afterlife and whether one will live in some version of a heaven or hell is more than just a waste of time. It means doing "good work" out of fear. I 've been trying to do "good work" for half a century...my motivation is to reduce suffering because I have empathy with those who suffer, not because of fear of some god's wrath. I've had the pleasure of working alongside "believers" and freethinkers in the effort to achieve equal rights for women and minorities, The Buddhists, Christians, Hindus and Jews had no problem standing next to me. Historically, freethinkers have been among leaders in the fights for justice and peace, including the animal rights and vegan movements. Post Date: 02/11/17, Replies: 6
Removing meat from your diet is essential This post is from a message sent to us from Tony Samara... Removing meat from your diet is essential: The subject of nutrition is not simply a question of the food we eat at meals. Besides nutrients, foods contain scents, colours and invisible particles that attract pure light, light that is so essential for our joyful life and well-being. The choice we make is therefore always of consequential significance. The difference between flesh-based and vegetarian foods lies in the amount of sunlight they contain. Fruits and vegetables are so steeped in sunlight, that one could say they are a condensed form of light. In order to develop the qualities of the heart, besides eating peacefully, one needs to eat consciously. This means bringing in the light, eating the concentrated light which contains the beautiful sounds that connect our hearts to the rhythms and invisible aspects of the Universe. This attracts the luminous properties of matter and illuminates your being, especially your thoughts and emotions, not just today, but throughout your experience of your existence on this material plane. Your future depends on how you eat and what you eat. Your body is your temple and every action within the temple, done with conscious intention, creates a more harmonious outcome. Transcendence happens as you obtain better and more refined particles to replace that which hold the old and limiting particles which colour your experience of this ecstatic universe. The quality of your food, it's physical properties, not only transforms your emotions and mind, but can actually change your appearance and personality. Everything around us is is permeated by forces and those forces become more pure and subtle the further they reach the higher planes of light that exist here in the physical world. This realm is of a spiritual nature, which transcends limitations and lives in the pureness of your most luminous and open qualities. The secret to opening the treasure-house of food, is the love and compassion attained within your consciousness. The treasure is the sun, condensed into particles, which we can send to all the centres in our bodies. This essential signpost of love reveals to you that at the deepest level, compassion becomes a healing power in the widest sense. Everyone you come into contact with will be touched by your presence and affected by the healing peace that you radiate. This breaks the cycle of action and reaction. You become light in the world, a reflection of consciousness in the most pure form, illuminating unconsiousness as it dissolves in the light of your new experience. The quality of your consciousness at this very moment determines how you will experience your future. Seek to generate enough light consciousness in order to feel the heightened aliveness so that you recognise and embrace your truth from the space of pure consciousness. Go more deeply into the source of your experience, where theory and speculation have no voice, rather, your inner experience speaks forcefully. Sacred Marriage The divorce rate in the US has been estimated near 75%. Fertility rates are dropping in the West so much so that the ruling elite of Europe have imported vast Muslim populations, for better or worse, that reproduce in higher numbers to replace the non-reproducing indigenous European populations. The ruling elite know that a growing consumer base to their capitalistic economies and a growing base for their work force matters more than ethnicity, religion or indigenous culture and genetics. How has this happened? We must look to current events for answers. Population levels and the institution of marriage seemed all right in the reconstruction period of economic recovery after World War 2 until the late 70s. By the 90s a fertility dystopia rife with broken marriages set in with no cure in sight. Although there is no simple answer to this complex topic, there certainly are a few obvious cultural patterns that did develop during this time. One variant concerns the environment. Nature provides Eros for love. During the late 70s onward, massive amounts of city building destroyed much of the world’s nature. No longer was it safe to drink from a river, trees are now in tree museums known as arboretums and one can drive for miles from mall to mall through canyons of cement. Another variant is the failure of Christianity. With the fallout of Catholic pederast scandals filling the headlines, Catholic attendance at Church has dropped precipitously. Protestant religions that use to emphasize family and work now run mega Churches that only banter eschatology or the end of the world. The end of the world and pederasty does not lend well for fertility nor over all acceptance of religion. Instead people are flocking now to atheism and dropping religion all together. What is the impact of Atheism on fertility? Without the sacredness of marriage or any belief in the esoteric concerning abstractions like love and God, people live together and break up often in an endless pursuit of personal pleasure and self-realization. Atheism also seems to effect birth rates negatively in China where an enforced one child policy led to an enormously imbalanced male population which inherently is impotent without women. The rise of feminism during this time also reduced fertility. We can see this from two levels. Islam, a notoriously male dominating patriarchal society, does not have a fertility problem other than it seems to over produce. Feminism, by contrast, steals away male virility. Men fought off the British, men wrote and signed the constitution, men built the cities, men invented electricity, the phone, the computer, air travel, the car, tract housing, universities, museums etc. Feminists walk in and demand that it all be handed over to women and deny men their most fundamental rights of child visitation after divorce. So many women that are feminists have no manners, are rude, narcissistic, masculine, aggressive and domineering. Feminist men often cultivate the feminine side of their personality and the conclusion is infertility. Women demanded equal rights in the work place which means that both parents work and so many generations of parent-less latch door children fill our prisons on drug charges. In terms of a vegan context, perhaps we should review the Atheist Vegan Feminist agenda. Do we really need to be led by women who wear party dresses and army boots, purple hair and bad make up, who are rude, aggressive, and ill mannered? Vegans need to redefine marriage, love, the role of man and woman, and especially God to reproduce. Vegan children are the most wondrous beings I have ever seen. It would be a shame to see the vegans become infertile and without love because a few greedy women who wanted to steal our cultural power convinced other vegan women that sperm stealing and single parent families are successful models. We need to operate from a male virility cosmology where love and God exist and marriage is sacred if we are going to compete with the Muslim culture. Otherwise in our next incarnations we will be eating lamb shish-kabob and chanting “Allah Akbar!” Post Date: 01/15/17, Replies: 5
Self Fulfillment Through Nature Anyone living near Dartmouth Massachusetts and Interested in becoming involved with organic gardening & sustainable living practices based on vegan principles ??? Welcoming those interested in forming a way of sustainable independent living by respecting and harmonizing with nature. I am located in dartmouth Ma, and am going to transform a two acre property with several greenhouses into a veganic permaculture model. I pretty much have every thing I need to do this and would like to get others involved with it at no expense to them. The gardens and their enjoyment with all the produce from them will be for the use of those involved with the hope for others to follow. Whether you do not have the space to do this yourself and would like to get involved for the use of it or if you would like to get involved and follow the model on your own space with the help of others, what ever good reason you may think of come get involved. There will be many different areas on the land for summer gardening and lots of space in the greenhouses for winter gardening. Be a part of achieving self fulfillment thru nature! SPIRITUAL REINCARNATION Tuesday, January 6, 2009 Spiritual ReIncarnation Lectures since 1993 Like all reincarnation, we have crossed paths many times with each other..everyone in this world. The one's that you connected with and/or have been involved with are more likely the most recent past life with or had a very strong connection from your past lives. We reincarnate in many living forms from human, to cow, to twig, to rock, etc. It takes a while for us to be reincarnated in human forms but because this earth is quite old and have been around for a very long time, we had many times to be reincarnated in human forms a few many times. However, being an old soul, it means I have been reincarnated in human forms not only many times, but much more times than an average human so basically right after another a few million times. ***Monk update Jan.2009 in Vancouver, BC Canada**************** Monk had pointed out that by practicing a herbivore lifestyle will grant us a higher chance of being reincarnated into human form than any other form especially animal because by eating animal products, you will harbour those animal energy permitting you to reincarnate as that particular animal or animals. Being a herbivore will reincarnate us more as a piece of grass or vegetable? Highly doubt it as Plant life are in a different plane of energy than human and animal forms. Plant life is a pre-mature of a full structure of the life tree. Animals and humans are full fledge top pyramid of life where we have graduated to the top of full growth.
