Vegan / Vegetarian Discussion - All Things Veg*n Forum

I know some vegans that won't let there kitchen utensils be used for meat cooking. Some don't even used restaurant forks. How is it reasonable?
I'm the only vegan in the family and I cook my food in a pan where those meat were cooked too.

As long as you clean the cookware, etc. before using it, there is no risk of infectious disease.

You might consider making more (or even all) of your diet raw...problem solved!

My only concern about cookware is too avoid plastic and aluminum.

We have separate in our house. But that's mainly frying pans. If you feel better doing that you can always colour code. Buy black for meat, and other colour for vegan. I'm thinking about the brightly coloured silicon utensils. We don't have separate eating utensils.
My neighbour is Jewish and she has a kosher house so has completely different pots, pans, frying pans etc for meat & milk, so I guess you can do it with meat and vegan.
