  Just to give Altberg a big thumbs up for their vegan footwear. Ours were a special order of mckinly trek classic, now an archived product: www.altberg.co.uk/Web/boots_archive_list.jsp
  
  The boots are perfect, I say are all pairs still going many years on. The materials a bit scuffed on one set but for sure I havent looked after them as well as I should have, but they still dont leak and still very supportive, just look a bit more worn than they should. But yes if you looking for the ultimate vegan walking experience you cant do much better. They have a standard vegan boot now and I dont know if you can still talk to the main man and make requests for other vegan products, for sure they make specialised footwear but it costs more. 10/10 for product and face to face customer relations. id go back in a flash and Im sure I will when these ones finally give up.
