  My first question is how many days do you have in Chicago?
  
  This would be my culinary itinerary:
  Day 1 - breakfast at Chicago Diner (Boys Town)
  lunch at Native Foods (Wicker Park)
  dinner at Karen's on Green (Greek Town)
  
  Day 2 - breakfast at Victory's Banner (Roscoe Village)
  lunch from Raw in the French Market (West Loop)
  dinner at Green Zebra (outskirts of Wicker Park)
  
  Day 3 - breakfast at m.henry (Andersonville/Edgewater)
  lunch from the Soul Veg Express a/k/a the
  Vegan Food Truck -check sched on Facebook or they
  will come to you!
  dinner at Mana Food Bar (Wicker Park)
  
  Day 4 - breakfast at Pick Me Up Cafe (Lakeview)
  lunch at Ethiopian Diamond (Edgewater)
  dinner on Devon Ave. at any of the all-veg
  Indian restaurants
  
  Day 5 - don't forget Avocado Eatery & Cafe (Wicker Park)
