The mixture of tangy and sweet flavors of this mango guramba is what makes people crave it for. You can now easily prepare this mango pulp enriched murabba at home.

● Raw mangoes/ Kari 2 cups
● Sugar 1 cup or to taste
● Oil 1 tbsp
● Carom seeds/ ajwain a fat pinch
● Fennel seeds/ saunf 1/4 tsp
● Cumin seeds/ zeera pinch
● Nigella/ kalonji 1/4 tsp
● Red mustard/ rai 1/4 tsp
● Red chili flakes 1/4 tsp
● Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
● Salt to taste
● Almond and raisins as needed

● Take the raw mangoes and deseed them after peeling the skin
● Then cut them into small cubes and soak in water for about an hour
● Take a pan and fry all the seed in them, let them crackle
● Next, add the raw mango cubes along with sugar and salt
● Cover the lid and simmer on low heat until the mango cubes become tender
● Now add the chili flakes and the chili powder and cook the mixture until the water dries out
● You can also keep the mixture’s consistency like a jam or watery, it’s up to you
● Lastly, add the almonds and raisins as the murraba is ready
● Store it in an airtight jar after cooling to enjoy later with parathas or rice
