On my internet radio show Animal Issues with Dr. Armaiti May (which airs every Tuesday from 1-2 pm PST via http://adrenalineradio.com/shows/168-the-vegan-vet), guest Rich Mc Lellan from the League of Humane Voters talked about important ways animal advocates can promote animal-friendly legislation and support animal-friendly candidates. Guests Donna Zeigfinger and Jeni Grant spoke about puppy mill dog rehabilitation. To get involved in the legislative action for animals, check out www.lohvca.org. There will be an LA mayoral convention with candidates addressing animal issues on Feb. 17th from 10 am - 2 pm at 4222 Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood. This is our chance to make our voices heard!
