• Modern restaurant, tasty healthy hot pot, expensive

This was a little tricky to find , you have to go in the N3 entrance on the north side of the huge building, take the lift to floor 3 then find room 310. The corridor looks empty but the restaurant is there and was busy. Ignore the marking on Happy Cow- look at the address instead. Restaurant quite modern but with traditional decor. You may be sat at a shared table, individual electric hot plate for each person. You choose your hot pot broth and any plates of ingredients to cook from an iPad, no English menu. We chose two hot broths and 5 ingredients plates and that was fine for 2 people, price was 95 yuan. Broths are quite neutral flavours but they give you a flavoursome sauce for dipping. This is part of a chain with about 8 other branches in Chengdu, all vegetarian.
