  • Someone has a Frida Kahlo obsession...

We were two vegetarians and a vegan cycling through France and generally despairing at the vegan options available. So Fridas was an exciting discovery - we came both on our way south and then back north again. The restaurant is small but well decorated by someone who clearly has a real passion for Frida Kahlo. She's a great lady, so that's a good start. And just as much effort is put into the menu which is much more varied than almost any other vegan restaurant I've been to - including in London, where I live. Given that there is only one chef in the kitchen - and at lunchtime he is also the waiter - that's pretty impressive. All of the food was very well prepared and presented. And tasted excellent. I won't recommend any one thing, because all the dishes we had (and we all ate something different) I would recommend. And they serve local vegan beer too, a citrusy blonde that hit the spot.
