  • Cool new falafel joint

I came across this place by accident and went there for lunch the next day. There were four set combinations on the menu, two of which are vegan standard, and they could be ordered as pitas or plates ($2 more). My classic falafel plate - with a bed of pleasantly smoky-tasting hummus, tomatoes and pickled cabbage and cucumber - was very nice, with a few flourishes such as a streak of mandarin pickle through the hummus, and reasonably priced at $11.50. Although vegan options were not labelled as such, it was fairly clear, as ingredients were listed and staff were helpful.
