  • Very fine food and a nice vibe.

There is a single menu, We had a delicious pumpkin soup, with toasted seeds scattered on top, a bean stew with side salad and a sort of vanilla custard. The proprietor has little English, but she found an English speaker to explain what everything was. It was not crowded and there was a relaxed ambience. A woman nearby sat reading a book after her meal without being shooed away. There a racks of books and musical instruments around the place. If I were working in Nantes, I could see myself making this a regular lunchtime spot and I think many of the clientele do.
