- A new branch of The Gate
I really enjoy the food at The Gate restaurants. Seymour Place is their third London location and is more central (not far than Hyde Park). It has a nice atmosphere and the waitress who took our order was friendly, although they were still settling in at the new location. Beautifully presented plates of food. Really enjoyed the banoffee pie for dessert. Update Dec 2018: I have visited a few times now and the food is generally good (the chocolate snowball on the festive menu was just perfect). I just wish the service was better and a bit more personable. With more staff, better training it could be a lovely place to eat. Updated from previous review on 2017-01-28
