My bf used to live in Pittsburgh and mentioned that Girasole was an exceptional dining option...so eating here was a no-brainer since it is also listed on Happy Cow. Now we ate here during dinner and not lunch - if you're planning on dining here on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to wait. This restaurant is both tiny and highly popular among the locals, we probably waited an hour (and they wouldn't take a reservation earlier). The only thing I saw on the menu as being vegan was the penne pasta with marinara, which was highly exceptional. The sauce was flavorful and the noodles were well cooked, overall it was a great meal.
