  • Great experience

My 10-inch vegan pizza boasted a tasty, somewhat sweet sauce, Daiya brand vegan cheese, and a thin, crisp, browned spelt crust. Toppings came in generous amounts on my choice, a "vegetazione." Omnivorous eaters at our table shared larger pies. Our group went on a busy weekend day. The surrounding area had a lot going on, including a farmers' market, that day. The menu clearly spelled out how to order vegan options. The "house" salad was made with some excellent fresh greens and a balsamic vinaigrette. The restaurant does not offer reservations, but was not as busy after the lunchtime rush, as explained by helpful personnel when we called ahead of our visit. Hence we had to leave a name for our party and wait to be seated. The wait was well worth it, especially for this vegan.
