• Rochester has a vegan restaurant!

Natural Oasis is no longer a natural foods store with lunch buffet. It is now a restaurant serving lunch and dinner and everything is vegan (though it does sell vitamins in the front). Their menu changes daily and features local produce, and they have probably a dozen entrees, a few drink choices, and one or two dessert choices per day. Each entree is $4, and the portions are reasonable. The food is unique and often highlights various cultural delicacies including Ethiopian. My favorites have been their risottos which feature cashew cheese, their spaghetti squash with fresh tomatoes, and a chocolate mousse. They serve this spongey yet tasty Ethiopian bread with your entrees. The setting is just lovely and they make everything when you order it. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
