• No Fuss at the Fossgate

Cool laid back coffee shop and bar located on one of the most culinary interesting streets in York, Fossgate. Very relaxed atmosphere, plenty of comfortable seating, somewhere you could easily spend some quality time. We only had time for a coffee which was served with a biscuit but because staff weren't sure whether they were vegan gave us a dark chocolate instead. Soya and oat milk are available with no extra charge. The menu has clearly labelled vegan options including a soup of the day which is always vegan, some sourdough bread toasties with vegan options and pancakes which are vegan as standard. This place also operates as a bar serving all sorts of craft beers, European bottled beers, cocktails and wines until very late in the evening. This is absolutely somewhere I would return to on future visits to York.
