- Vegan Heaven
For our last meal after spending 4 days in Chiang Mai, we decided to come here as Vegan Heaven had very good reviews. I ordered a deep fried mushroom appetizer with a sweet and sour stir fry fish. My wife chose a similar stir fry dish but had no issues with her dish. The mushrooms tasted okay but once I started on the stir fry dish, something in the sauce didn't taste right (best way to describe it was something tasted like ***?). I continued to eat my entire plate and then went to use the bathroom. I saw the kitchen on the way upstairs to use the bathroom and noticed the unclean state of it. [edit by staff - see tos] Rule of thumb. Check the cleanliness of the bathroom before you order your meal. And also, don't eat somewhere that has too many dishes to choose from.
