  • How it should be done!!

All the five stars seem to be taken, so I want to give six. Got a minute? Read on. The first star is for the price. Average local salary is $5. Why does a meal omitting the expensive beef and cheese imports have to cost more than a days wages? Buy local, charge local. Who should we support in Cambodia, Bob's Red Mill, or local farmers? Star 2 is the food. Locally sourced, cooked with love. Affordable, filling soul food. Mmm, tasty. Star 3 is the location. A five minute walk from the Golden Lions. Local village. In the shade. Lower rent, savings passed on to you. Star 4 is the menu. No effort to cash in on the hipster-vegan 'fad'. Healthy food we all know from our ''carnivore' years. Star 5 is for the owners. No, I'm not a groupie, but you can't help but be impressed by their kindness and unpretentious approach to feeding even the non-vegans. Lastly, but most importantly, star 6 is for leading by example. If you want to change the world, don't turn off vegans and especially non vegans with your overpriced 'raw organic superfood''. We want 'food', the kind we can afford to fill up on and the kind that will impress and hopefully win over the non-vegans. Peace Food cafe has (4)feet firmly placed in the real world. This ain't a fad, kids, this is a better way.
