- Amazing Christmas meal!!! (2016/12/12)
This was the second time in 2 months I've visited the restaurant. The first time I was blown away by the Spepherd's pie, and this time by the Christmas meal. I had following items: Starter Porcini-mushroom and pecan pâté on finely sliced sourdough with lingonberry sauce Main course Chestnut mushroom, lentil, and cashew Wellington Dessert Sticky toffee pudding with runny soya cream All food was very tasty, so it was worth the wait 15-45 min per course. But don't come here if you are in a rush. The food is made fresh and to a high level of quality so it takes some time, and I still think they are a bit understaffed in the kitchen. Also, don't expect caramel sauce with the pudding, which in reality is more like a moist ginger cake. Very delicious, though! So maybe a better name should be 'Ginger cake and soya cream'.
