  • Vegan-friendly Nepalese restaurant

It’s a Nepalese restaurant that’s really veg-friendly: Many non-vegan dishes are available in a vegan version, and the menu clearly indicates what is vegan and what can be made vegan. So there is lot’s to choose from, e.g. very yummy starters like samosas, momos, potato-rolls , as mains they have different lentil dishes (superb), Palak Tofu (a spinach curry with tofu instead of paneer-cheese), an eggplant curry, spicy vegetable dishes and so on. The ambience could be better - I think the owners cannot afford to renovate everything and to buy new furniture, so they integrated what was already there from previous owners. Sometimes they play the mantra "Om mani padme hum" in an endless loop - like many places in Nepal. The heating doesn't seem to work very well - it is advisable to bring a light jacket. In my opinion the quality of the food and the friendly staff make up for that! They also offer delivery/take-away.
