- solid vegan stuff for a smallish grocery
Alameda does not have a Whole Foods, but we are fortunate to have this nice local store that carries many vegan staples as well as organic produce and a health/vitamin/personal products section. It's the only place around to get a small selection of nondairy yogurts, fancy nut cheeses, and similar stuff. It can be on the more expensive side but not more than similar stores. It's in the Marketplace building which has a convenient parking lot.
