I stumbled upon this macrobiotic restaurant today and was THRILLED after having to decline eating with friends because I couldn't even find the simplest vegetarian options on most menus! (I even asked for "noodles cooked in plain water" and was not accommodated.) The food at Rota Cafe was tasty and light. I had a pureed sweet potato soup with a small green salad, a roll with salted olive oil for dipping, and some kind of barley flake crusted tofu (?) savory morsel. This was 700 JPY ($6.25). The service was sweet and efficient, as it is in all Japanese restaurants. I LOVE restaurants where I can eat everything on the menu and not have to "worry". Will definitely go back!
