  • Good food, friendly service

We visited Paradis Marguerite on a weeknight in February and found that it wasn't full at all. I would guess that it is busier during the high tourist season, as it is convenient to many of the museums. The decor is cheerful, with a yellow and white theme in keeping with the restaurant's name. The food was tasty, but the portions were quite large. I ordered an appetizer and a main course, and it turned out to be more than I could finish. My companion quite happily finished all of his, though he did also remark that it was really too much. He had been hoping to have beef bourguignon while in Paris, but he was satisfied to have had Paradis Marguerite's seitan bourguignon instead. The mushroom soup that came with my main course was particularly good in my own meal.
