• High-end Dinner with Simple Food

Visited a couple of times during the summer of 2016. The Purple Bar is located inside the 5-star "Hotel du Collectionneur", in the 8th. arrondissement, close to the Courcelles station on Line 2. As expected, the service is great, and the interior and atmosphere are also quite pleasant. They started providing vegan plates (clearly labeled in the menu as such) during 2016; and they have actually many plates to choose from (burger, pasta, tabbouleh, dips, etc) and as desserts they offer a cupcake w/sorbet, and a fruit salad. We thought the burger, the pasta and the cupcakes were delicious. The plates themselves are not something you cannot find at other less-expensive restaurants; however, there are not many options in Paris for a high-end dinner experience, so if that's what you are looking for, you could give The Purple Bar a try.
