- Yummy and Friendly!
I initially discovered Stem & Glory on a Facebook ad, so decided to take a trek over there to check it out. Its about 25 miles from home, but a good vegan cafe is hard to find. I wasn't disappointed. Although I got there at changaround time (their menu changes from daytime to evening menu around 6pm I think) we were offered daytime menu for half price, which I think is a thing they do. So my daughter (age 4) and I had some shepherd (ess?) pie which was just gorgeous, with lentils and big chunks of carrots, onions gravy and a lovely potato and celeriac mash topping, perfect, yummy. I had a mint tea and my daughter had local apple juice. The atmosphere was welcoming, bustling but calm, as it's right where the yoga studios are. Really good vibe and I can't wait to go back. I might stay in Cambridge so we can experience breakfast, lunch and evening meal! I'm sure it would all be as lovely. Great to see this place, hope it thrives. Thank you xx
