- Cosy vegan...
This is actually a chain of restaurants and another exists in Taunton, Devon, which I visited a month ago. Altho they also serve meat, it is noteworthy in the UK at least, that they have two stacks of menus on their front desk.. one for meat eaters and another for gluten free or vegan... whereas at other restaurants the information is either lacking (despite the Dec 2014 EU laws), or has to be worked out using a wad of printed pages with every single dish they serve - in most cases these are hidden away or dug out from a cupboard or dark corner.. and even then they have not created dishes suitable... several restaurants i have been to have a good allergens menu, but they have absolutely nothing except a tomato salad to offer... The Cosy Club menu has several options for breakfast, lunch, tapas and dinner.. a tasty quinoa burger, avocado on sourdough with chili and lime, a vegan breakfast... i had extra sweet potato fries and also some sourdough bread and olives... Both buildings were well and similarly decored throughout... with grand staircase and an arty, open space feel. Bath had a fairly large outdoor seating area. This is a good place to go in a group or with a family who may not compromise... and a well-rounded menu is needed... at least at the Cosy Club, you won't be made to feel like a disrepected second-class citizen at a family meal out. They also serve cocktails and mocktails along with other short and long drinks...
