  • Simple yet good (more of an cafe than a restaurant)

From our trip around Thailand we stayed at Krabi, Ao Nang for a 5 days and looked around for a pleasant meal, luckily we hit up Happycow to discover this welcoming place in a little bit hiden street. It is really a simple place and it intends to be. The vibe is carefree yet alert and every move made in preparing our food was considerate - truly fulfilling experience. No, it is not a place where the butler has a stick between hes or hers buns to keep a smile on your face, neglecting his or hers - no The experience is more like visiting a friend, where you see your people and accept them for who they are and they do the same, it really feels like home, when you open yourself to it! The food has an vedic twist to it, as you feel that everything has its balance, no overpowering flavour. The experience was good and the food was good, but it tends to be a little bit more suitable for breakfast/lunch than for dinner. The pastry is certainly cafes strong suit. Same goes for the salty and the cakes, really nice! The atmosphere is more western than anywhere else we found in Ao Nang Beach, really nice cafeteria to do your lunch break in or enjoy yourself. The owners are really nice and open, make sure not to march in with your foot gear on, as the floor is cleaned for you to be there on your barefoot. Thank you!
