- Good atmosphere and tasty food
While spending some hours walking up and down Prinsengracht i visited bolhoed twice - first for a coffee and then later for dinner. During the afternoon it was very hot outside so the cafe was empty but the coffee was good and there is a nice cat living there. That evening it was much more lively - seating outside and plenty of people indoors too. There there are plenty of vegan options on the menu which is a major bonus but it is EXPENSIVE - probably due to being on the main tourist strip it becomes acceptable. I had a very basic stir fry which cost €17 and cake which was over €5. Ouch! That said, it's in a very convenient location for hungry tourists like myself :)
