• Fillet-om-Phish is Life!

Came here last week with my partner, I'm SO happy to see a place that does delicious plant-based burgers (so over soy and fake meat processed-junk). The fillet-om-phish was unbelievably good, can't believe they managed to get aubergine to taste like fish! It was so delicious we had to buy a second one. I got the pulled jackfruit burger and I have to be honest, I think I prefer my own version of this, I use a lot more marinade (bbq sauce + spices and brown sugar) and dried out a little bit. It was a bit lacking in sauce and the fruit was too moist, I prefer it a bit chewier and more well-done. We met the owners and they were lovely (they also allow dogs in here, which is good to know and they made a big fuss over our boy), so am definitely looking forward to going back and trying the other burgers they have on the menu.
