When I went here, I asked what could be made vegan, and the cook was pretty adamant that the dishes would not taste good without fish sauce. I insisted that, no, I do not want the fish sauce, and the dish she prepared was flat. Maybe she didn't have anything in the kitchen that was vegan that could provide the umami that I really wanted? Still, there aren't many places in the area that have vegan options, so it's one of the better places. Updated from previous review on 2016-12-02
