  • really nice, authentic food

I've first had cigkofte during a holiday in Turkey - and was surpsrised to find this little place during a visit to Regensburg. Even though I've ever only had them by themselves I chose a durum - and it was delicious, especially due to the sauce used. Everything was freshly prepared and the cigkofte tasted just like it did back in Turkey. It's a rather spicy dish (and can be eaten even more hot when using chili). Highly recommended! The place is small, but nice. There's also an option for a take away box for extremely good value. The fried veggie-thingies available are really nice as well, even though a little pricey for their size. Can't say anything about the desserts as these aren't vegan. Person working there was really helpful in pointing out what's vegan-suitable and was obviously really knowledgeable! Updated from previous review on 2016-07-14
