- Consistently dissapointed
Visited An Lac as it was near my hostel and recommended by another traveller for being very cheap. Yes, prices are cheap at around 30K for a meal but the portions are small- I am a young female and would need 2 meals to feel satisfied. I hate to be harsh, but most of the food was honestly gross. On my third and final visit (I kept giving it second chances as it was close and cheap) I had the 'Thick noodle soup' that was so disgusting it was inedible. Most other meals are very bland and basic. The one thing I can recommend is their Cao lầu (Hoi An special noodles) which was delicious. But definitely can't recommend this place as somewhere worth trying.
