• Exotic and healthy Siberian products

This is my friend Elena who runs this boutique bio shop and invited me to visit. And of course I was asked to write review :) The shop is located in the centre of SPb just a few minutes away from the Mayakovskaya subway station. The owner is a bit crazy about healthy and organic food and lifestyle and you can ask her any question on that topic, I'm sure she will reply. And, as you know, in Russia it's not easy to find these products. That's why few time ago she decided to quit her regular job and start this small eco-business with bio-products she trusts and respects - tea, spices etc. Besides, she was born and grew up in Siberia. So the second activity is natural Siberian products: fern, wild herbal teas, honey, wild berries jams, healthy energy drinks, chocolate etc. You won't find bio-labels on these products as nobody in Siberia has heard about bio-certification :) and some of them contain sugar etc, but still that stuff is the healthiest one made in Siberia you are managed to find. I would recommend you to try bird cherry chocolate candies. For many of us this is a taste of childhood as we ate it raw just from the tree or as a filling to the pie lovely cooked by grandmas. By the way, you can find dry bird cherry powder here to cook that pie yourself ;)
