• The Future is Green

WOW!!!! I have dreamed about modern stylish 'futuristic' restaurants that happen to be vegetarian as opposed to checking out cool eateries where the diners gorge on the dead. If we hadn't purposely visited the Green Spot as a result of discovering it on happycow I would have probably walked past thinking it would be too expensive. This place is amazing. It is uber cool, you could chill out/ lounge here for hours in their comfy seats. The food is very special, the tempeh we tasted was the best we've ever had, it was sensational and I'm usually not smitten over tempeh. The staff were really helpful and friendly and you can't fail to feel relaxed and welcome. My only criticism is that although there are a good array of vegan meals to choose from, non vegan meals do seem to dominate the menu and many of these could be easily transformed to vegan delights. To conclude, The Green Spot is a truly Great Spot for veggies, vegans and to transform the narrow minded views of those veggie sceptics. It's an uplifting and satisfying experience and one that should not be missed.
