• Too sweet for me (not in a good way)

This weekend we visited Oatmeal for having some sweets and drinks. We had as drinks the beet latte and the chocolate with marshmallows; and as sweets the banana red velvet cupcake and some kind of pound cake with blueberries. Unfortunately, we did not enjoyed any of them. The beet latte had gotten my attention, but I found it to be a bit watery. Maybe it was just not my cup of tea. However, the chocolate was super sweet; I could barely taste the cacao in there. And the desserts, they had good taste, but sadly, the flavors were overpowered by the sweetness. Also, desserts were small; but that's not a problem since they also cost less than 4 euros. So it's a good value. If I would've enjoyed them, I'd have probably ordered one or two more; but I couldn't. I won't be having their sweets anytime soon; but I haven't tried their plates (porridges, sandwiches) which are likely to be much better. So we'll see.
