- Vegan friendly restaurant
We were delighted to find this restaurant with a vegan menu in Alcudia old town. The woman who runs it is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about veganism and although not totally vegan herself, mainly eats a plant based diet. We first had lunch there when the feria was on and both ate a noodle dish, which was tasty. We returned a couple of days later for dinner and I had a raw vegan dish of courgetti with pesto, which was lovely but my husband chose a vegan burger and was very disappointed, saying that at best it was average. Overall we felt that the menu choices could be improved, there being too much emphasis on substitutes such as vegan cheese, rather than fresh, local ingredients. Having said that, it's great to find places in Spain that cater for vegans and hopefully they will improve as they become more experienced in this type of cuisine.
