I loved meeting the owner and chatting about local food, ecology... Being vegan is a philosophy, it's not just looking at food labels; it's being kind to animals, people and the planet. This is his goal so he doesn't use take-away coffee cups, to stop pollution. He only works with small companies to get ingredients for his cakes and his coffee comes from fair trade. He made sure even the glue used in his tables and chairs had no animal components... And I was too full to try his cakes! :( But they looked great. I had a very nice green smoothie and sat outside to enjoy the sun in Berlin. My friend had a very tasty coffee. I'll definitely come back when I visit Berlin again.
