- Good basic food near the historic center
This restaurtant is about 2-3 blocks from the Estacion Central of the Metropolitano system. There's no sign out front... just a yellow awning. As of May, 2016 the meal of the day costs 10 soles. It comes with soup or salad. They have a steam table with about 12 different items, and you can pick any number of items to be put on your plate. I initially chose just 3 items. When the girl brought my plate to my table she told me I could have more food if I was still hungry. The meals comes with a drink. I would give the restaurant 3 cows for good basic food; it's similar type of food at other restaurants in the center of town. The service was good.
