• Vegan paradise!

On my recent trip to Northern Vietnam I discovered vegan paradise in Hanoi of all places! My eyes could hardly believe it, such a huge array of dishes were on offer. All sorts of tasty mock meats and vegetable treats were there as well as a Pho station and a dessert section. The mock meat was very convincing, especially in the Pho. This place is an absolute bargain at 99,000 for an eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet. I sure got my money's worth by having 3 platefuls, a bowl of pho and two servings of Che (a vietnamese dessert). When we first arrived this place was packed with big groups of young and old of all nationalities, which speaks volumes for how good it is. Whether or not you're vegan you should try this place out next time you're in Hanoi. With no animal products whatsoever the chances of getting sick from this buffet are drastically reduced. Cheap, healthy, compassionate and safe, surely a 'Nguyen-Nguyen' (win-win) situation! ;) If only this place had been in Hanoi the 4 previous times I visited.
