Very fine pure veg place in the Tapovan area of Rishikesh. (By the Dewa Retreat Boutique Hotel. Note: I believe the map on Happy Cow is incorrect.) Many vegan, gluten free and even raw items. Use organic ingredients. Some items have milk products. Varied menu with breakfast served all day, like scrambled tofu, pastas, even a vegan pizza, middle eastern plate, etc. as well as Indian selections. Everything we had was very good. Try the Bob Marley salad. Yes, I even gambled on a salad and had no ill effects from it. They do not soak the raw veggies like in some 5 star places, but they do thoroughly wash everything in RO water. Many delicious juices, drinks and smoothies. Great decaf coffee with soy milk! First we have found in India. (No meat, eggs, fish or fowl). Modern, clean, spacious dining area with big view windows (with views to mountains). Euro height chairs and tables and also low tables and cushions. Also have outside seating as well. Definitely nicer than most of the other places in Rishikesh.
