- The only vegetarian available at Jiufen Old Street
Glad to find at least a vegetarian snack eatery at Jiufen Old Street. Only opens at 11:30am. Must try their specialty; Vegetarian Red Vinasse Taiwanese Meatballs. Ate with a mixture of sweet sauce pouring over it. A bowl of mixed varieties consist of one of each mock meatballs, mock prawns, mock meatballs with mock mince meat fillings, vegetables balls & vermicelli. Soup taste just right, not too salty, not too bland but slightly oily.
