- Great vegan experience in Rijswijk
Grannys Food is a lovely snackbar located in the train station building in Rijswijk. The basis is Surinam cuisine with some hints to the Asian kitchen. The menu has vegetarian and vegan options. I have had lunch here on two occasions. The first time I had Roti with vegan chicken presented as two wraps with housemade yellow sambal. On my second visist I went for Gado Gado , bean sprouts , green beans and cabbage with peanut sauce + Vegan satay with fried onions , bread & atjar. The owners told me that there will be a complete new menu soon with most vegetarian dishes being veganized. I can definitely recommend you to pay a visit to Grannys Food when you happen to be in Rijswijk!
