We visited en route from London to the south west. Tucked away in a typical English village, House Twenty8 is a very charming place, beautifully decorated and the staff are young and friendly. Maybe because it was late in the day but we were very slightly disappointed by the food. Although it was very well presented, portion sizes were quite small for the price and my chilli and my girlfriend's falafel burger were both on the bland side. On a positive note, the burger was available with gluten-free bread which is not always the case. Updated from previous review on 2016-09-19
