- Pleasant Enough
I wasn't really sure what to expect when I entered Dou Dou. It was so quiet, small and almost seemed a bit deserted. The atmosphere was really odd. No one came over to greet my friend and I as we entered. We had to just find a seat and help ourselves without being asked if we wanted drinks or anything of the sort. Unfortunately, I have coeliac disease so I had to ask if they had any gluten free options. They genuinely had no idea what gluten was or if any of their food contained it. So I had to 'take a gamble' and hope for the best. I got lucky that time but I don't recommend this place if you have coeliac disease. All in all, the food was nice but the atmosphere was a let down.
