• An absolute gem!! Must try!

We found this mostly by accident as we were looking for a place near Mino Waterfall for lunch. This is one of the best vegan places in Osaka! It can be a bit confusing to find, it is next to a homewares gift shop type place, and there is a gallery above the cafe. It reminded me a lot of small, hipster type cafes in Melbourne (Australia), it looks like a terrace house with a courtyard covered in vines and flowers, wooden furniture and funky decor. There is an English menu. We had soy french toast, which was light and fluffy. And the tofu burger is simply amazing! It is served in a brichoe type bun and has a yummy sauce. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly (although did not speak much English when we were there - it wasn't really a problem, with gesturing and limited Japanese you should get along just fine!). I would highly recommend making a trip out to Mino to try this place, and then go for a lovely stroll to the waterfall too!
