Welcome the green onion - myself and friends were friends of 'Dig It', 'Puzzle Organico' and now 'The Green Onion' - the latest in the family of the inspiring new cross organic food shops that started beside the station a few years ago. The Green Onion, a short walk from the station down by Fordham Park is a well stocked, friendly store with nice music and a wonderful tea selection (a few tables for sitting too). There's also local crafts, seeds and plants and eco household products. Good to visit after being away traveling for the winter and pick up the healthy community feeling joe
