What a lovely place. Happy Cow only allows a max of 4 stars for non vegan restaurants. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner who quickly and happily explained everything that was vegan. There was a lunch buffet where about half the items were vegan but we were craving specific dishes and opted to order off the menu. It's always such a relief to know when the person taking your order fully understands what vegan means and you feel confident there is no confusion in the kitchen. The food was delicious, the service was prompt and delightful. We are just in town visiting but now plan to eat here every day of our trip. So glad we found this gem! if you're using Google maps to get here, it will say you arrived while you are still on the beach road. You must turn on Tegarden and travel about a quarter mile down the road before you will see the restaurant on your right.
