• Unique atomsphere with great vegan options

GWARBar is a small, theme oriented bar that is a huge draw for local Hipsters. The décor is very funky and includes lots of fake blood splatters throughout. We started with the Vegan Wangs, which are Seitan-based. They were very tasty with a realistic consistency. The Buffalo sauce were nicely spicy. I had the Vegan Wopper next. It's a Seitan-based Italian sausage sandwich that is very authentic tasting to the point that I looked for tell-tale grease on the bread. It definitely was not greasy! The sausage had a very nice kick. I had the House cut fries as a side and they were cooked until golden brown and very crispy. The fries were to die for. GWARBar is very small, so you might want to get there before the rush. Unfortunately, the service is really slow. We waited well over 20 minutes just for a table to be cleared. That said, the staff is friendly. If you can forgive the slow service, GWARBar is definitely worth a visit.
