- DELICIOUS food, super nice owner
This little two story restaurant in the center of downtown Yangon was just what we were looking for after walking the hot and humid streets of the city. I am vegan and thoroughly enjoyed the soy milk masala tea and the thali set. They kept refilling the dishes for free, and we got another round of the chapati for a little extra kyat. Every thing was vegan, which was assured over and over by the English speaking owner. She was so sweet and we could tell she was busy but she made it a point to talk to us and make us feel comfortable in her restaurant. The thali set consisted of rice, 2 chapatis, veg curry, Dahl, Chana masala (chickpea curry) and a jackfruit (looks like pork) veg curry which was 2,300 kyat. We got this, the soy milk tea, a large water and extra chapati for a total of 4,000 kyat. GREAT DEAL! The only complaint I have is that the dishes weren't hot. They were all cold or luke warm, but that didn't stop us from having seconds (or thirds). Would definitely definitely would recommend this to any vegan, veg or Indian food loving foodie! Thank you for the delicious food! Updated from previous review on 2017-02-01
