  • Worst customer service, Pricey menu and low quality food

I went to dosa plaza with my friends for lunch last month. None of the waiters came to our table for 15 mins. Finally one waiter came and took order. Food came after 45 mins and continuous reminders to the waiter. When someone is hungry, even a mediocre food tastes very good. But most of the items were very bad. Seems to be reheating old food. We complain to the manager. He never look like bothered to hear our complain. He asked us to go and complain to the owner. I got the local franchisee owner(Supra or Subra) number and called him. He did not pick up the call even after many attempts. We left Dosa Plaza paying the bill for the food we did not eat and went to Saravana Bhavan. Supra or Subra called us next day to ask why we called him many times. I told the previous day story and he told that we can go to the restaurant and get refund. I went to dosa plaza again and told the manager supra sent me to get refund. Manager asked for the bill and after I handed over it to him, he asked me to wait and he was on call for few mins. Then he came to me and asked me to go to police station and complain. We called supra from there. He did not pick up call again. I sent him a message and went back to home. Supra called me later that day and told I am lying and I did not eat in the restaurant. Then only I realised that it is a trick played by the cunning supra. As they got the bill back from me, I have no proof that I ate there. I had been to Dosa plaza in mumbai many times and never had any customer service or food quality issue there. Looks like the local franchisee are cheap fraud fellows.
