  • High quality food and cute décor

A really cute little restaurant with a small but well thought-out menu. We sampled a samosa (huge and tasty) and the aloo chat for starters, followed by the smoky eggplant and pea dosa (delicious) and matar tofu (rich and tasty). Disappointingly there is no vegan naan but the non-vegan naan was apparently very good. The food was great but portions a little smaller than I would expect from an Indian restaurant; we could have done with sharing another curry, or getting an extra bread or a rice on the side. Food was tasty but not overly salty or oily. If you can't choose, they offer a "just feed me" option (essentially a thali, I assume). Service was friendly and the atmosphere really pleasant to dine in, with an open kitchen.
